Our four-dimensional ultrasounds show objects in 3-D moving in something close to real time. A fetus’s earliest movements are seen at 8 weeks. Parents-to-be will see lifelike images and not just the flat image of a baby’s face as with traditional ultrasound equipment.
Ultrasound has a host of uses, ranging from diagnosing conditions of the blood vessels and arteries to the extremeties.
